New Chev Silverado Duramax - Life is Good!

Well, I won't be buying many new power tools for a while - unless, I can sneak them into my workshop without LOML seeing them anyway!

Yesterday, I ordered a new 2007 Chev Silverado 2500HD Crew Cab Duramax V8 Diesel with a 6 speed Allison Transmission . It is scheduled for delivery towards the end of November. The timing was good as GM announced that same day that they are extending the normal 60,000 mi. new vehicle warranty to 100,000 mi. on all 2007's - nice timing!! I usually miss those deals.

I bought the truck with the intention of pulling a 5th wheel. Haven't got that yet as I'm still in a bit of shock over actually buying the truck - I've bought 3 houses in my life for less money!! I have to sell my 2003 Honda Accord now, so that will take some of the sting out of it. I did get a good deal on the truck though - just a couple of percentage points over invoice.

Now, it's back into the workshop to regain some sanity in my life!!

Congrats Rick, that's a nice ride. Be sure to post a pic of the Chevy and your big grin when it's delivered.

      Rick,
You will absolutely love your new truck.
2 guys at work have them. Actually the same guy bought both (2003 and 2006) and sold the first one to the grandson who also works here.
Nice and quiet and what a pleasure to drive.
      You'll hardly know you're pulling a trailer.

The only problem I see for you is paying to get the truck/trailer off the island. Now there is a heart stopper.

Hey, great truck. What's with the fifth wheel? We all get a ride soon?
