Is there a catagory for those that don't make the Darwin awards?

A few years back, a woman wrote a letter with some complaints. She copied it and sent it to the paper. One of her complaints was, she wanted the city to take down the deer crossing by her house, so the deer wouldn't cross there anymore.

Yes I am serious, I only wish I would have been smart enough to keep the article. But see so much stupid stuff.
Last week, the tornado sirens were going off in Liberty. They actually had one about two years ago (a friend described it as he was so drunk he thought he was hallucinating it, till a tree fell into his house). This woman called to complain the the radio station, that she couldn't open her front door, as the wind was too strong. (not bright enough to go to the basement, had to try to go outside to see what was going on)
She couldn't tell the difference between the escape pod, and the bathroom. We had to go back for her.........................Twice.

The best thing before sliced bread...

OK that list is going to be passed around
But to answer #21, the best thing before sliced bread was a stemwinder.
As in: "That's a real stemwinder!"
The stemwinder pocket watch was such an improvement over a key wound timepiece that 'stemwinder' became a term of praise.
Although later it was used to describe a long boring speech because people kept looking at their watches during it.
