    improv at Home Depot

A group of 225 people did a improv at Home Depot. At a certain time they all moved in slow motion. At onepoint they all stopped for 5 minutes. Pretty funny to watch the other peoples / employees reactions. It happed at 23rd Street Manhattan on August 19th. Anyone here shopping there that day??

Nope, but I think I've seen a large number of people at my local BORG, all wearing orange aprons, walking slowly and eventually not moving at all. In fact, I think I've seen that on a number of occasions!

Not to mention JR, in my case, when I needed help, they were all over at the radio's listening to "the game" ignoring customers, while "working".

Wish I could shop there with a cattle prod!
She couldn't tell the difference between the escape pod, and the bathroom. We had to go back for her.........................Twice.

At the stores I shop at they all move fast, in the other direction.

The unemployment rate i my area seems to determine the quality of the "big box" employees. Winter time seems to improve the quality of the employees up here at Lowe's and Home Depot stores. Fewer kids working and a few more knowledgable adults when the construction season slows down.

Pretty funny. I'd seen the one they did at Best Buy a while back.

My catch phrase for Home Depot is "35 people hiding right out in the open". I often say it when I walk in as I pass the customer service desk. When I occassionally do have actual eye contact with an employee I will say "Ha, you finally found me". Used to bother me but now that I know the store almost better than they do it becomes almost comical. Interesting how some of the employees in the videos didn't even notice what was going on.

                More like the inverse

I've seen customers move faster in every retail place other than the employees. And that is without the supervision of some webby wannabe who has a camcorder and access to the internet. Oh well, a waste of time for everyone in general. I wish I could get my 3 minutes back for watching that.
