    The joys of a hammer

          It's a great joy to swing a well balance hammer, strike the nail dead on, and watch it sink half way into the wood.

          Only wish I did that more often. Usually it's swing, cuss, pull out the bent nail, repeat twice.

            But, that project doesn't look to use any MDF. Are you certain it is you?

              Rub the hammer face on very fine sandpaper to remove any "oil" that may be on it. It works! A lot of bent nails are the result of slippage.

                MDF wasn't around in 1948
