    First BT3 Picnic

Well this weekend was the first annual West Coast/ Pacific Northwest BT3 Picnic. Stan and his wife Liz came over from Kalispell and we had a blast. We sat around till late friday night and saturday night visiting and just plain old relaxing. We were busy visiting and enjoying the weather that I didn't take too many pictures.

Our son tried out Stans BB gun for him to make sure it was sighted in . And then we have a spot for the kids to shoot the bow and arrow set that we have for them and Stan watched him and gave him pointers I am sure, and our oldest son "loved" that.

Our black lab loved them because Liz brought them treats to eat. The other dog was in the dog pen or on his chain most of the time. But Ash, the dog, would not leave Stan alone at times.

And this was taken this morning before they left our house. Thomas is not in there because he was napping.

It was a great weekend and hope to maybe do it again next year

Most definitely a very enjoyed weekend. Had a great time 'talking-shop' with Mark and getting the tour of his shop and completed projects... And let me tell ya folks, that curio cabinet is gonna be fantastic when completed.

Also got some tips and ideas that will be applied to the kitchen remodel that is in the works here.

Liz (LOML) and Melissa did a lot of chatting while we were off and looking around at things, and we all spent a lot of time gathered around in the lawn chairs just talking about whatever came to mind... hard to beat a time like that on a beautiful day.

We put in about 420 miles each way, -- but it was well worth it. Of course the trip back to Montana took a bit longer as we stopped in Spokane to have a regrettably short visit with Eric -- a quick shopping trip through the aisles of Harbor Freight -- then a quick visit to the WoodCraft store.

I put together our images from the trip at this link:
