    i have drillaholism too

Is it possible to have too many cordless drills? Seems like I am always buying them even though I can only use at most 3 at a time (drill, countersink, driver)

    Here's my current inventory:

    2 Ryobi 18V drills
    1 Hitach 18V drill
    1 Hitachi 12V drill
    1 Makita 14.4V drill
    1 Makita 14.4V ID
    1 Ridgid 12V drill
1 Ridgid 12V right angle ID

This isn't even to mention the slew of corded drills, drivers, ID's, and hammer drills that I own. And now I've got my eye on a Ridgid cordless hammer drill.

What is my fascination with drills and what can I do to stop? I desperately need to buy more routers

Freud indicates this may indicate psychological disorder.

To determine if you do have a psychological disorder simply look at the first word of the above sentence. Did you think renowned psychologist Sigmund Freud or did you think of Freud Tool? If it is the latter you may in fact have a problem.

I mean we know you have a problem with clamps, now drills . . ..

To help cure this disorder you should pack up an impact driver and two cordless drills and ship them to me in new jersey. That should ease the pressure on you and also make more room for tools if this don't work.

No. The fact that you ask if Freud makes cordless drills clearly indicates your unbridled desire to acquire yet another drill. My guess is that this is going to get really ugly, to the point of an intervention, when you get into the hand tool collecting that so many are addicted to. It’s the new crack.

Wow, you have a lot of drills.

I notice you don't have a Triton cordless plunge drill:

In my experience the best way to get rid of an obsession is to plunge into it big-time--to eat so many pancakes with butter and syrup that you get ill and never want to have another pancake again. Hey, usually works for me.

BTW, I know where you can get a Triton...

My collection of drills recently became 1 less.
I sold a 14.4 Dewalt for $50 in my garage sale. 1 of the battery pack went bad and I didn't want to pay the price to replace it.
My collection of cordless includes a 18V Skil and Ryobi both are cheaper for replacement battery packs.

To fill in the drill collection I have 2 corded Drills a 15 year old Craftsman 1/2" Industrial and a 1" Central Electric SDS rotorary hammer.

As for plunge drilling I have an adapter set up with a 1/4" chuck I can throw it on 3 of my drills and it works fine.

I don't mind hearing it, but keep it to yourself if it stinks.
