    Need a prayer, please

One week ago, this past Tuesday, my wife fell and broke both her legs and left shoulder. She has already had four surgeries on her left hip, including the most recent-full hip replacement with a 10" stem in the femor. She broke the left femor below the prosthesis, and the right femor near the hip. The doctors did a closed reduction on the left leg, and placed plates in the left knee to reinforce it, then put a rod in the right femor. The shoulder was broken, but not badly enough to require surgery, so they immobilized it with a sling.
All prayers would be appreciated, as LOML is getting a little despondent about all this.
    Thanks everybody,

    Dave in NC

Ouch. All good wishes coming from here. I hope she recovers quickly, being that immobilized can't be enjoyable.

Best wishes for a speedy recovery for your Mrs., Dave. Having just had my shoulder worked on, I can tell for certain the immobilzation is NOT enjoyable, but my guess is with the hip and leg, the shoulder will be a piece of cake.

Consider the prayers done, and thanks for putting my day into perspective....

Take care of both of you!

I hope for a speedy and complete recovery for your Mrs. I'm upset because I bought my Orthopedist and Urologist a Porsche and a boat, and my Veternarian a Honda Ridgeline. To this day they haven't even given me a ride.
