    You might beat the System!

Don't know if this is true or not, but it's worth a shot.

WHAT TO DO IF YOU GET A TRAFFIC TICKET

This advice was sent by a retired State Farm agent!

This system has been tried and it works in every state.

If you get a speeding ticket or went through a red light or whatever the case may be, you're going to get points on your license.

This is a method to ensure that you DO NOT get the points. When you get your fine, send in a check to pay for it. If the fine is $79.00 make the check out for $82.00 or some small amount over the fine. The system will then have to send you back a check for the difference, however here is the trick.....

DO NOT CASH THE REFUND CHECK!

Throw it away! Points are not assessed to your license until all financial transactions are complete.

If you do not cash the check, then the Transactions are NOT complete.
The system has received its money and is satisfied and will no longer bother you (and no points will be added to your license).

This information comes from an unmentionable computer company that sets up the standard databases used by every state.

Send this to everyone you know. You never know when they may need a break.
Stop thinking why you can't and Start thinking how you CAN!
    Remember, SUCCESS comes in CANS!

The last time I got a traffic ticket you had to send a postal money order if you mailed the payment. They would not accept checks.

I can prove this wrong very easily.....

          I live in WV, what's a com-pu-ter??????

Every year we receive a form that we have to fill out and mail back to the county detailing our property (house, cars, farm animals, etc.) so that they can then assess the taxes. The tax assessors' office doesn't get the info from the dmv, etc.

If at first you don't succeed, deny you were trying in the first place.

I like Steven Wright's approach better. He had his driver's license photo taken deliberately out of focus. That way when a cop pulls him over and asks to see his ID, the cop stares at it for a minute, moves it closer and farther away to try and see it, then finally shakes his head and says, "here, you can go..."
