Finally got to meet an old friend (lotsa pics)

I guess the thread title sounds a little odd???

To explain, through the good graces of the internet, Sam Conder, BT3Central, and the chatroom. I've had the unique opportunity to form a very good friendship with a man that I've never even met until this week. After untold hours of chatting, weekend phone calls and a whole lotta razzin' over the past 2 years or so, I finally had the opportunity to meet Popeye from the forum. My wife and I invited him up to spend a few days with us and he took us up on the offer. I only hope he had half as good a time as I did because I had a blast, the pictures will show that.

    Day 1
Pat arrived with gifts for Reva and Tabitha (talk about winning over the ladies right away )

    Day 2
We got my jointer and BS on the new mobile bases that I ordered, got started on a "required project" while he was here, putzed on another project and had a cookout. I've only got pics of part of the day's accomplishments.

    Day 3
    GUESS what we did

    Day 4
Made a trip to HF, a trip to my favorite hardware store, assembled the table (required project) and finished up my shop vac caddy to keep me from losing my extension wands and attachments. After that, Pat had to hit the road and try to beat his new tablesaw to his house. Grizz called and wanted to deliver it the next day.

Sounds like you guys had a blast and stayed out of trouble which is good. We didn't have to bail you out of jail or anything. Thanks for sharing the pictures Thom.

Looks like you all enjoyed yourselves. I bet that was fun meeting and working on a project and just hanging out. My idea of a good time.
