The last 2 weeks I have been filling in for a guy who is on vacation. He was supposed to be back next Monday the 26th. It is a project at the V.P.s want done which is why it couldn't wait two weeks. Anyhoo, last night a dream woke me up that I was walking down the hall at work today and I ran into him. He was back early and I was happy that I could dump the work on him. Well today I was walking down the hall and ran into him.... Turns out he had to cut his vacation short.

Then I had a dream that another project I am working on shipped today. As of yesterday it was blocked because a regulatory report we needed wasn't done and it looked like we'd miss our date. Well this morning I came in and found out that the requirement for that report was waived so we are shipping a few days early.

I get those every now and then. Learned to tell the difference of when they are a dream or real in the future. I just never know when it's going to happen in the future. Normally it's a few days to a couple of months, so it's not of much help.

Very unlikely in the 1st instance, possible on the 2nd. The other PM cut his vacation short because some folks his family was supposed to see had a family emergency. So he decided to save the vacation days and make another later this year longer. I could not have forseen that.
