Alright all you loyal NC fans. Let's hear it for the Carolina Hurricanes. First ever Stanley Cup. I'm not a big Hockey fan, but I sure did enjoy this series.

Congradulations!! I am a Habs (Montreal) fan and I was cheering for the Oilers, but at the end Canes did what they had to do to win!!

Congrats to the Canes. I'm an NYR fan, but was rooting for the Oilers (can't stand Peter Laviolette). What a great series! Not to sound critical of the rest of the team because they played excellent, but wow, Cam Ward was 80% of that cup...HE WAS AMAZING!!!!

Also, is it just me, or is Rod Brind'Amour the ugliest dude in hockey?

I keep telling everyone here that I'm a Oilers fan reserving the right to cheer for the Canucks when they are in town.

Some of you probably know that Cam Ward is from Edmonton (Sherwood Park, suburb).
He is THE reason they won the cup. Kid has a huge carreer ahead of him.

Brind'Amour is probably the ugliest. Tim Hunter used to be.

is twenty-two. General consensus is that goalies hit their peak around thirty (here in Ottawa we seem to think forty as in Dominik Hasek) What a talent, what a future the kid has!
