    Adoption hopes - good news!

Some of the regulars might remember I posted about my wife and I trying to adopt. We do have a six year old son but we cannot have any more children. We have been in an open adoption pool for almost three years now. We have had some roller coaster close calls. We had been talking about being resolved that we were not going to be able to adopt. We got a phone call this week from our agency and a birthparent selected us. We will be meeting the birthparents on Monday to discuss the details. She is due July 9th. If it all works out this will be a very happy day for my family.

    Wish us luck my friends!

    "Slight" change! LOL

Scott, I won't wish you "luck" but I will say a prayer on your behalf.

Good Luck and I am truly happy for the future prospects of this child.

Waiting to find out has to be torture!

Anyone willing to put themselves through this has to have the patience of a saint, and will make wonderful parents.

Good luck, I'll keep my fingers crossed!
