bosch heavy metal blades cut the mustard

A few months ago I signed up to receive one of those free bosch reciprocating saw blades. I finally had need to try it out last night. Needed to cut through a 3/8 thick cast iron tube with an OD of ~3.5". I used the fine tooth blade. It cut it like butter; done in about 45 seconds! I cut a second one just for kicks and I couldn't tell any difference in the performance.

I definitely need to get me some more o' them blades!

that's good to hear. Still haven't received mine, matter of fact I'd forgotten about signing up for them.

I haven't received mine either, but I do use Bosch blades to cut down my steel sheets to be a manageable size for the bandsaw. They are top of the line in my book.
