    Jointer gloat

Saw an ad in today's paper. Went for a jointer (had it in the paper for $75) and got the following too (TOTAL PRICE $105):

Delta 37-190 Jointer (with rust and after rust)

Delta 40-540 16" Variable Speed Scroll Saw and Dewalt DW318 Jigsaw

Bunch of clamps and other things (see list below)

2 Quick Grip 6" Quick Clamps
    1 12" Jorgenson E-Z Hold II clamp
    2 36" 1/2 pipe clamps
2 mini 6" quick grip clamps
    3 C-clamps
    1 corner clamp
    2 spring clamps
    1 hachet
    2 buck knives
1 old rusted planer (about 17" long)
    1 cat's claw
    4-way tire iron
    2 car jacks
1 drill stand for portable drill
    1 adjustable Stanley speed square
    1 framing square

Spent a couple of hours getting the rust off and ran a piece of scrap across the blades. Infeed and outfeed are flat and blades are in decent shape (maybe need a dressing). Overall I think I did good. D/L the manuals for both Now to build a mobile base and hook up the DC to it (going to have to rig something there) and all I will now need for the small shop is a bandsaw.
    Thanks,
    Pete

Thank you, thank you, thank you. Now if I can get the bandsaw, I will be really ready to rock and roll.
        Thanks,
        Pete

That is one of the best gloats I have seen in a while. You did good.
