    Lost my FatKat today

This morning I lost my FatKat, A faithful companion for 7+ years. No matter how bad a day I had I could always count on her to be there and rub her head on me and purr. She used to sit on my lap while I browsed the forums. I値l never hear her purr again, I値l never feel her soft fur against my face, and I値l never again hear her meow to greet me when I come home.

    She will be missed terribly.

    Scott,

My condolences to you and your family. Those who haven't been there can never know the impact our furbabies have on our lives.

Hopefully one of these links can help:

I know what how your feeling Scott. A few years ago I lost my best buddy of 13 years when my Pom died. I was extremely attached to him and miss him very much to this day. Now when I think of him I think about his amazing personality and all the funny things he did. I don稚 think I will ever get another one though as it was just too painful for me. It helps me though to think about what a good life he had and he was a VERY spoiled dog to say the least.

My wonderful, talkative Siamese is now 10 years old. Hope she outlives me, but probably not. I would miss her terribly, as I am sure you do. Great companions, cats. Sorry ...

Folks that don't have pets don't realize what it is like to lose one.

Tip a glass to her memory for me!

Sure ya will, buddy. I can't believe that a God with enough love to loan us these treasured creatures wouldn't plan to return them to us on the other side. I have pics of my German Shepherd who left ahead of me 20 years ago that make me well-up every time I see him. Yea, I know we'll be restored and playing our games together again and he will warm my feet as will she your lap.

I am sorry to hear about that Scott. Our pets give us comfort and love and expect nothing in return. Our pets are family to us too.

Our pets are our babies. We have a "fat cat" that is getting up in age. He purrs like a diesel engine that has blown a couple of cylinders. It's annoying when he purrs in your ear when you are tring to go to sleep, but I sure will miss that racket when it isn't there anymore.

We shared our home with Brazos (born on the bank of that river) for almost 18 years. Gone 4 years now and we still miss him.
