In the first question I did not say boxing, I said chess and wrestling. I guess it depends on definition of major sport.
On third question - My wife has chives in the garden. She planted it once. Since then they just grow and spreading without any planting.
          Good quiz.

            Good quiz, but countless errors.

I had the "dweeb" thing, too (it's even in the Cambridge dictionary, as well as every online dictionary I could find).

In baseball, a "passed ball" does not get you on first base unless on a third strike, and you already cover that possibility in another example. However, you left out "fielding error"... Also, hitting a runner with a (fair) batted ball gets you first base, although the runner is out (may technically be classified as a "fielder's choice"). Another way to get to first base without a hit is to BE THE FIRST BASEMAN (or any other defensive position which may, on occasion, cover first base).

Boxing may not be considered a "major sport", but if it is, then karate and other "judged" conflicts would have to be included also.

Lettuce is definitely sold in "processed" form, as an ingredient (washed, cut up and combined with other ingredients) in ready-to-eat salads.

In places with year-round growing seasons, there are many vegetables that survive over several seasons to produce food without replanting.

There are other fruits in the berry group that have seeds on the outside. The seeds of the strawberry are simply the most visible example.

I don't know about everybody else, but I consider the tilde, the ampersand and the "at" symbol (@) to be punctuation, at least to the extent that some of the other examples are.

And finally, another American landmark that is constantly backpedalling is George W. Bush!
...eight, nine, TEN! Yep! Still got all my fingers!
