I think a pigeon is dying on my roof.

I noticed this bird sitting up on my roof three days ago. yesterday we noticed him sitting in a different place on the roof (in a corner). squirted him with water, and he's alive but doesn't seem to want to fly away. This morning as I was leaving for work, he's still in the same spot.

I hope he isn't going to die on my roof. It'll be a pain if I have to go up there to remove his carcass.

If it dies, you can knock it down with a power washer or you can call animal control (ASPCA). Let them scale a ladder to your roof.

There was one sitting on my roof last night too! He/she looked healthy so I think it was just taking a break.

h5n1, don't go touching that bird, if a bird is acting strange these days, call animal control ASAP

Chuck a cat up there. Then you'll be sure of its status!

I heard George Bush was taking care of bird flu.....wait that was from here...never mind.

My neighbors brand new garage has already become a fave resting spot for a pigeon. Luckily he doesn't like mine. Must be the lack of architecture.

If it is hanging on the pitch of the roof, how far is it to the gutters? I had to clean out one in a neighbors years back, that had a nest, that had fallen in the downspout.
She couldn't tell the difference between the escape pod, and the bathroom. We had to go back for her.........................Twice.

he was sitting up near the top, it's a good 20 foot to the gutters, and with my roof's pitch it would be a very fast trip for an egg. My roof has about a 50degree pitch. She's steep. I don't even like to get up there at all. I'm going to have a metal roof installed when the time comes.

I didn't notice him this morning and I will be out of town for the next 2 days. I'll look for him again this weekend.
