    Shop Time on Mother's Day

Barbara, the LOML spent the day sick with a cold. Our grandson Austin can over to wish her well, and we got some shop time in on my mission end tables project. Hope B gets feeling better quick, but Austin and I had a great time. His first lesson on the jointer.

The best way to kill two birds with one stone.

Bring em in the shop. Build a stronger bond and keep em off the street (and out of trouble).

My nephew (5y/o) has so much fun with me he doesn't realize he's doing work (neither do I for that matter). Another couple years and I'll start him on the big toys.

We built a small model house from 3/8" ply last week and Sunday he painted it. He got most of the paint on the house too.

Outside of a dog a book is man's best friend. Inside a dog it's just too dark to read.

Great picture Ken. Now he gets to go to school this week and tell all his friends about using power tools. Well the boys will care anyway.
