Glad to hear you are back home. Do what your doc tells ya and especially do what the physical therapist says. LOML is a personal trainer who worked several years doing physical therapy down in Florida. The patients who did not progress very well universally did not do their therapy as they were supposed to.

Keep working at it, Ken. You just have to be hard headed about the future.

My dad had a stroke when I was a kid, before all the therapy was known. He was told he would be paralyzed on most of his left side and would just have to learn to deal with it. Rather than accepting that, he spent hours in bed massaging, stretching, and twisting his left side with his good arm. In less than a year there were no signs that he had ever had a stroke.

Ken,Glad to hear the good news! The rehab and full recovery takes time so be patient.

I kind of understand what you are going through as my Dad had a heart attack 4 weeks ago. He is in "convalescent care" now so he can get the care and the physio that he needs. They say it may take another 6-8 weeks before he can go home.

Agian, hope you are feeling better everyday and full recovery very soon.
