    Hey Seattle guys!

Well I am out here again on business and have been here all week so far. Today the wife flew in and joined me as she wants to do some site seeing this weekend. Anyhow on to the question, The people out here know I like woodworking and they are suggesting that I visit Hardwick’s Hardware and I was wondering what you guys that live here and woodwork think about the place?

It's worth a stop. Old and packed with tools, floor to ceiling. Very narrow aisles so they can add even more. Some very nice stuff behind the locked glass cases. My car automatically steers into the parking strip when I drive by. Enjoy. Bill

Well I am going to tell you Seattle guys and anyone who travels to Seattle; you need to make it by Hardwicks Hardware! That place is amazing! I really don’t think there is much they don’t have and the selection of hardware is great. Kind of a junky place with tools everywhere! They have just about the whole Starrett line as well as Lie Nielsen. I could buy Henry Taylor bench chisels on one visit and buy milling bits for the metal mill on the next visit. It would not do me well to live in Seattle as I would be in that place every payday.

As it was I bought a rather hard to find Starrett 13F Square, a 12” Starrett C604R 12” rule and Vogel angle square. To give you an idea how fair the prices are there the 12” Starrett rule sells for $25.99 on Amazon and at Hardwicks it was $26.50 which is not a bad difference considering instant gratification!

Anyhow, I loved the place and you guys are doing yourselves a disservice if you don’t go check it out. I wish they had one by me in Texas..
