    Stupid Win XP question

I'm embarrassed asking this question because at work I'm the guy everyone
turns to to fix computer hiccups (it's not my job).

Well, I accidentally moved the horizontal task bar at the bottom of the screen
to the left side of my screen and it's vertical now. About the only thing I can
do is make it wider or skinnier, but I can't bring it back down to the bottom of
    the screen.

    Ummm....Help.

    Thanks, Paul

That sort of thing has been around since Windows 95.

I remember the first time that happened to me, I about went nuts, trying to get it back where it belonged. It may take a little coaxong but it's "doable".

Just grab one end of the Tool Bar and drag it to where you want it to live.
Stop thinking why you can't and Start thinking how you CAN!
    Remember, SUCCESS comes in CANS!

Thanks George. I think I grabbed that toolbar a million different ways and now
it's finally back in its place!

No problem, glad I could be of some help.

I wasn't sure it would work on XP, but thought it would be worth a try.

The trick is to click the bar not at its edge (that way you resize it), but in 'main body' area.

You got it right when you posted "Stupid XP question" not "XP Stupid Question". LOL!
