    Log-in problems

Does anyone have a clue why I cannot log in unless I am on the forum page. Well-I can't. Only when I go to the forum page, can I successfully log in. After attempting to log in on other pages, I get a block that says: "Thank you for signing on meika123", but it will not be logged on in the forum section. Is this normal, or is it my "screwed up" compute?

    Dave in NC.

(BTW: I could log on before)
Stress is when you wake up screaming and then you realize you haven't fallen asleep yet.

    Hi, Dave!

I've not tried logging in elsewhere than the front page, so I logged out then clicked on "Around the Coffee Pot" as a visitor. I then tried to reply to a post and got the "You're not logged in ..." box - once I filled this in I was back in as a member. Whilst this doesn't answer your question, at least it shows that there's nothing wrong with the forum software.

Have you tried clearing your cookies and/or emptying the browser cache? If you're unsure about these actions, drop me a PM (with browser make/version) and I'll whizz you some instructions.

    Ray.

That does sound like a setting in the browser. Probably set not to check for new pages automatically. That particular setting may help because it sounds like your browser may just be using cached pages.
