    It happened AGAIN!

I just found another TICK, crawling around on my hand!

Tommorow, I head into town (17 miles one way) and get some kind of a "Tick" Spray!

    Enough is enough!

This little bugger was about 1/8" in diameter. I took him off my hand and layed him on the desk and then stabbed him with a forstner bit that I had laying on my desk.

Yup, sounds like a dog tick.

go to the vet and get a pack of frontline. squirt it onto the base of your neck and it should take care of the problem..........

If at first you don't succeed, deny you were trying in the first place.

It really isn't safe to use those unless they are in a drill press.

I have been going through the same thing this month. I tried my best to check my dog out after a run in the park. Later that night I caught one tick climbing across my bed (from my dog) onto my leg. Checked her again a number of times. Found another on my dogs ear the next am on her ear. It is amazing how those things can hide. Man that skeeves me... I itch right now thinking about it. I got some medicine the next day... but I went for Advantix. According to my vet, Advantix (not to be confused with Advantage) and Frontguard will both kill them after they attach and take a drink.. but the Advantix is the only one designed to repel them in the first place. So I went for the Advantix. I don't even want them to attach. I can say it doesn't work 100%... as I have found one tick on her since. The one downside with Advantix they gave me... is if your dog goes in the water a lot, it will make it less effective... in which case Frontguard would be a better choice.

PA/NJ are known for lots of ticks. Now, every time I itch I have to check to see if I have something on me!
