    Thank you scmhogg

Today was not a particularly good day; at least it did not start out that way. I got up with a massive headache and to top it off the pollen count was high so my hay fever was acting up. I had thought about staying home from work but I need to save my time so that I have it if they decide to do the surgery on me (possibly in August). I was feeling sorry for myself all day and it was nice when quitting time rolled around and I could go home, Drink my allotted 12 oz bottle of Sam Adams and close the eyes and relax.

When I got home there was an envelope on the table and momma asked if we were being sued because it was from an attorney. I looked at the name and recognized it as my old friend scmhogg . I opened it up to find the most beautiful leather strop on a handcrafted oak board with accents of Lignum Viate, and a very touching letter.

I’ve said many times that people seldom know how much impact that they have on another persons life by a simple act of encouragement, kindness, or friendship. This one thing made a bad day into a good one. It brought a tear of joy to my eye and I just realized that my headache is gone.

Thank you Steve, you are a dear friend.
