    Insecticide

I need recommendations for a insecticide concentrate for my yard. Already starting to have a problem with chiggers and I have a feeling the fleas are going to be bad this year. I used to treat with a solution made with 20% Lindane, but I don't think it is available any more.

Any ideas what I can use to effectively treat 1.25 acres?

I'll be interested to see what answer you get Pap. Fleas are already bad down here in SE Georgia. All my pets are inside/outside types. And chickens aren't gonna be the answer Ken Pat

You just have to equip them with infra-red magnifying, flea finding glasses!

I was waiting on the missus to get up to ask what we use. It's by Vet-Kem, available at the vet. She says the formula has Durisban and may have been banned. I have found another Vet-Kem product for lawn spraying with Google, but don't know if it's as effective.
Tina suggest to contact the local Humane Society. That's where she purchases these products at a lower price, often products passed down from vets that the vets can't sell any longer.

First DDT, then Chlordane, then Dursban, then Diazanon. Before long, the strongest thing we'll have to get rid of bugs will be to pee on them!!
...eight, nine, TEN! Yep! Still got all my fingers!

Trust me, that's one area you don't want a Chigger bite!
