That is just hilarious.

I was doing a little research and the message is definitely real, it occured 5-6 years ago in Athens, Texas. Jack in the Box confirmed that the message came from their voicemail system at that time. Apparently it was forwarded enough on the system that it crashed the voicemail servers. No one has confirmed the accident, so the caller could have been playing an elaborate prank, but I doubt it.

I am reminded of this joke about an old lady. Coming from supermarket to her car, she sees that four guys have broken into it, and are piling in, about to drive off. So she pulls a gun out of her purse, and yells: Get out of my car, or I'll shoot!!! The guys jump out of the car and run off.

Old lady gets in the car, tries to start it, but her keys won't fit. Suddenly, she realizes that this is not her car, that hers (same model and color) is parker two llanes over. So, she gets out, and goes over to her car. She figures that she should drive by a police precinct to report these four guys who were apparently trying to steal that other car.

At the precinct, she finds these four guys filing a report that their car has just been jacked by a crazy old lady with a gun...
