    Update on my last Post

Okay so the doctor I went to on Monday was either playing it safe or just wanted someone else to look at my ankle. The orthopedic doctor called today and made an appointment for today and my dad took me down there. Well they took more x-rays, and came back to my room and said that they wouldn't need to do surgery (for now I believe he said). I am now in a bright Pink cast for three weeks and then I have to go back for another check. I was so happy and relieved to hear it. At least now I can put slight weight on it just to move around the house a little better. Still on crutches but can live with that little problem for the time being.

Thanks again for all the support of the forum. It really helps.

That is good news. Favorite words from a doctor, "No Surgery Necessary"!

Although that pink cast is going to be awfully limiting to your wardrobe.

Very good news indeed! Have the kids put painted hand prints on the cast yet?
