I love the water and have been boatless for a couple years. I put a deposit on a new one that my local dealer has coming in. Might see it next week. It's a Boston Whaler 15 Montauk. They are new and scarce and I haven't seen one yet but the sale is contingent on a test drive.

I'm confused? How do you prevent your table saw from sliding around?
Hope it works out for ya!

Yeah, just make sure that you end up in the half with the motor...
The price of fuel (especially in the marinas) has put a major bite on the boating biz here in FL. The 50 gallon-per-hour guzzlers are sitting idle or selling for pennies on the dollar....eight, nine, TEN! Yep! Still got all my fingers!Comment

I am excited for it to get here, kind of like a kid waiting for Christmas.
Test reports show 5 GPH @ 35 MPH wide open, 2.3 GPH @ 20 MPH which would be a normal cruise speed. Shouldn't break the bank on fuel usage.
Nice thing about no wood is that you can use it rather than spending your time with a varnish brush in your hand.
Bass look out.Comment

Whaler,
I heard that BOAT is actually an acronym for "Bust Out Another Thousand". I saw a bumber sticker on an pickup one day that read: Just another boat accessoryComment

I had always heard "Bring Over A Towline" or "Better Own A Truck"...
What I actually found to be true was "Bust Our Asses Together"...Last edited by just4funsies; 04-09-2006, 06:54 PM....eight, nine, TEN! Yep! Still got all my fingers!Comment
