anybody else run the Cooper River Bridge

LOML/Swmbo convinced me to run the cooper river bridge, and after about 2 months of training, I did and crossed the finish at 1:20, ( my personal time was something like 1:13)

the winner of the 6.2 mile run ran the thing in 28:13

anybode else run it, and how did you do?

Nope Dan, never have. Not bad time there, IMO. Mine would have been more like 1 day, 20 hours!

This reminds me of sitting in the Dr.'s office waiting, about this time last year, listening to a nurse and a lady meds. salesperson discussing the bridge run. They were in a heated discussion about what river the Cooper River Bridge was over, neither mentioned the Cooper River.
When the doc arrived, they asked him to settle the argument, he lost it completely, came into the little room I was in and we both laughed for 5 minutes!
