Done. We really don't have a "goal" so the thermometer is irrelavant.

We're doing good, let's keep going! Also, if you send a payment via PayPal, send me an e-mail and let me know you want it to go to the Monte Memorial Fund.

I have an idea, and will be following thru...

Since real spring is anytime due now (at least here in soggy Bay Area, CA ), I was thinking we folks should have a local 'garage sale' and dedicate part/whole of proceeds to the Monte Memorial Fund...

If we have anything ww-related, we can even have some fun by posting what we have for sale, and have our own members bid on them.. knowing that the funds raised will be going that same fund...

Look for mine...

I'm hoping the graph being stuck on $225 only means that Sam has been too busy with more pressing business to update it lately.

I did that...
I saw that his wife got hit by a truck... appeared like she was healing... nothing more... Last update at end of Feb...

His last post was March 25, 2006.

I went saw his album, etc. very nice projects... love that Chair / stool / ladder design.

I could not find out what happened to him or how his wife is doing..

I searched for Monte and found that he had suddenly passed away...
I hope it was not from an accident in his shop...

It appears that his wife has healed from the accident and is getting stronger day by day.

He went out peacefully and quickly in his shop... same way most of us on here want to go, just not so soon. He was mentoring his grandson in woodworking. The fund is to help the kid continue his training in WW school.
