    Our Memorial Service for Monte

Our friend Monte's funeral will be at 1:00pm EST today, Thursday, March 30, 2006 (thanks to bfrikken for posting the details, elsewhere).

If I may be so bold, I'd like to propose that we all observe a moratorium on new posts for a period of one hour, i.e. from 1:00pm EST to 2:00pm EST. To me it seems appropriate that we set aside our discussions about tool bargains and woodworking problems and such while our pal is being laid to rest.

      Larry,

Excellent, will do, and add a silent prayer for him and his family.

      I'm going to miss him.

                  Almost seems Ironic

We appologize for any inconvienence, but these forums are closed for an hour due to the death or one of our fellow posters, Monte.
Since the Forum Windbag, can no longer speak, we will observe silence, in Honor and Irony to him.

Rest in peace, Heck he's probably busy planning his shop up there!

How shocked I was, when after being in sick bay for 5 days came to BT3 Central to find it closed. The reason was even more shocking. I alsways enjoyed Monte's posts and replys to mine I will miss him. This Sight has to be the most special site on the net. Every time something bad happens BT3Central responds in positive a compassionate manner. I hope to get back in the shop over the weekend as soon as I can get off the Codine cough medicne.

I missed this post and logged on during that time period. I was shocked to see the forum shut down. What a terrific idea! It was a fitting honor for Monte. This forum continually surprizes me. I am proud to be a member here.
