      Solitude!!

Went with LOML and the Basset to our cabin... Just us, were able to leave darling daughter, her intended, grandson Logan and their 2 hounds home and had a delightful weekend alone, just talking, reading quilting (her latest project),and watching an occasional DVD. Netflix rox! Went out for a delightful dinner, then back to some sloitude, quiet etc.
      Enjoyed the peace and quiet!

          Crockett,
It is kind of funny that you moved a wooden play structure this weekend, because that is what I did last weekend. I moved one from my sister's house to my daughter's house. Hers is older though, so I will have some minor repars to make.

          George,
This last weekend I was looking at properties for my other daughter. She is trying to buy a house, and move out of here again. She has been living with us since her husband left her on Father's day last year. She had just had knee surgery, had a ton of medical bills, and couldn't work for about 2 1/2 months.

I am glad you found a house in Miami, because now we are nearly neighbors.

Spent 2 days setting up a new computer to replace my 6 year old one - transferring and reinstalling programs, setting things the way I like, and on and on and on. Microsoft could have made this so much simpler!!!!

Went to the the woodworking show. Bought some router table, sanding and some other miscellaneous stuff. Picked up the 30-piece MLCS 1/2" box set for my dad. Seriously thought about a sander that looks like the one Ken Massingale recently got.

Proceeded to the BORG to pick up one of the Ryobi AP1300 planers for the lower AP1301 price. So far, I'm happy with it, but then again I really haven't done much with it, and don't have experience with anything else to compare it to.

Installed a new outdoor light on the side of the house, so LOML doesn't kill herself walking between our house and the next door neighbor's.

Found the post on here which describes how to get my Tradesman jointer's infeed table co-planar with the outfeed table.

Just what I've done the last two and will do for the next two or so - rebuild a terrace garden wall in 6x6 landscaping timbers (yes, those suckers are heavy). I rebuilt two of them last spring and thought I'd apply (practise) some finer joinery on them since it's going to be a while until I get my basement cleaned up and a proper shop setup.

Oh well, what is spring for but lurid amounts of muscle pain?
