    Ladies & Gentlemen, allow me........

.....to introduce to you my newest grand daughter! Ahna Reise Rogers made her grand entrance tonight at about 8:30. She weighed 6#11oz and was 20" long.
Her poor mommy had a real tough time today so it was decided she would be delivered via C-section. Gina was in a fair amount of pain and VERY tired when we left the hospital tonight, but she was left in very good hands. As a result of the drugs the doctors were giving her mommy to get her blood pressure down, Ahna was having a bit of respatory distress so the docs placed her in a little oxygen tent. Her breathing and all her vitals started to improve immediately. Grandpa on the other hand was about to freak out! The docs told us this was not at all uncommon and not to worry (easy for them). As they were doing all the measuring and what not, I'm sure Ahna winked at me through the nursery window. She sure is a beautiful little girl!
Yes, I'm a bad grandpa, no pictures yet, but I well correct that situation as soon as possible!

Morning update. Mom & daughter are feeling MUCH better this morning.

      Congratulation.

Grandchildern are wonderful. I know what you are going through. Our oldest Grandaughter had breating problems and we spent some extra time in the hospital but she is goiing to be 3 in may and she and her twin brother are healthy happy youngsters. I will say a little prayer for her and her family. We have all 4 with us this week the twins and their older brother, age 4 1/2 are spending the week with us, while their parents have little R&R and my wife provides day care for our soon to be two year old grandaughter. This place is a zoo during the day but it keeps us tired but young. To me Grandchildern are the frosting on the cake of life.

Grandkids are great. You can play with them all you want, and when they crap themselves, you just give them back to Mom and Dad! Of all the sweet words in the English language, "Grandpa" is the sweetest.
...eight, nine, TEN! Yep! Still got all my fingers!

Congratulations Larry! This is really great news. I didn't realize until this week with what is happening in my family the real difference my daughter makes to her grandparents.

Congratuations to you and your family Larry. I know what you went through as we our the proud grand parents of 4 little rug rats. We have 3 daughters who are all married now and have given us tremendous amount of pride and joy. The youngest grandchild was born on Janurary 3rd of this year (Hannah) who has an older sister (Emma) aged 4. Our eldest grand daughter (Madison) is already going on 7 years old, and has a younger brother (Hunter) aged 4 1/2. Our yougest daugther (25) hasn't had any children yet, but apparently it is in their plans, so I'm sure we'll end up with one or two more grandchildren before all is said and done. We're going to need a bigger house if this keeps up. LOL. I plan on teaching my grand son the little I know about working with wood. He and I are suppose to start making bird houses together this summer. He sure is Poppa's boy. So once again Larry, congrats and give our well wishes to the happy parents. May there be a guardian angel watching your family at all times.
