    My New Woodworking Home Page

For the past few days i've found myself between projects in my workshop so i started fiddling around with my computer in between checking out ww forums. the result is i ended up developing a personal website. why? because it was just fun to do.

it is pretty basic stuff(it might just stay that way too , i don't know).

    here's the url: http://members.shaw.ca/rick_rjd/

i'd appreciate any comments or suggestions anyone might have to add to, improve or even 'junk it' !!

thanks in advance for having a look!

The only suggestion I could make is that you should be getting a fee from Victoria Tourism for the awesome photos you posted causing every BT3 member to have a holiday there.

I have to say that the south island (including the west coast of course) is my favorite place in this vast country of ours and I wish there was a way for me to live there.
That is definitely my wish for retirment but that's still 20 yrs away.

BTW if you ever go up to Coombs, stop by the antique auto mall across the bridge from the farmer's market and say high to my buddy Rich. He has the custom car shop there and his inlaws own the little auto mall dedicated to classic and custom cars. Awesom people.

Hey there ain't nothing wrong with that site. Actually I think it's pretty neat and well done. I can't believe you made all that stuff. Good job for sure. No I think the site is a keeper and if you are having fun with it go for it. Good luck and I'll visit every once and awhile to see what's up. You going to hang any picture of girls? Just kidding.

                    Rick,

Nice site. Love the chair pictures and the "tourism" pictures. I've been up your way a couple of times and it really is a beautiful part of this big world.

                      Nice job on the Web-Site!

I left you a little note (something for posterity)

I enjoyed the tour of your shop, your projects and your City.

                          Very nice ...

It's a very nice site Rick ... well done and easy to navigate. Lots of things of interest, but doesn't feel too crowded.

Nice lil' shop and some great projects (I REALLY like the top on that coffee table ... the one with the legs up slightly proud of the top).

The photo gallery client you used is awesome too ... what is it please? Easy to scroll thru and you don't have to keep hitting the back button.

                          Thanks for sharing!
