We will permanantly lose all the posts made between Sunday and about 1:30 this afternoon.

hey sam, i made a few posts in that period and they weren't worth keeping anyway . anything we need to say, we can say again, o.k.

so, like an earlier poster i'm going to give your migration effort an "F" too - for "fantastic". take your time, relax and know we all support and appreciate your efforts and this will work out just fine.

Woodworking is a hobby and relaxation to me.
Reading this forum is fun and enjoyable.
Nothing here is worth getting sick over. Just take a step back, breath a couple of deep breaths. Now when you can get around to fixing things it's fine with us. It's just a learning experience. I'm sure this forum started as a hobby so if you are feeling stressed that's the only thing you are doing wrong.

You're doing a great job with the switch over. Little things like this always happen. On the plus side, the pictures are still attached to the bad posts

It will all work out (after you get your rest) and no one will blame you or leave teh forum over it.

We're (almost) back!

We lost 537 posts to the "Craftsman torque wrench" bug and we won't get them back. It's not too bad when you consider that originally 164531 posts were corrupted!

hey sam, that is great news. i hope you are feeling a lot better about this now and will relax a bit. stressful stuff isn't it? but, you've done a terrific job and should be proud of how well not only the migration went but how well you were able to recover and make a potentially big problem a relatively insignificant one.

I think I can speak for everyone when I say that we weren't really worried you'd be able to work another miracle, Sam. Good job! And don't worry about the 537 posts. I'm sure this thread alone will make up for it.
