    Was it made in China? Lots of tools are made in China now a days. Lots of made in USA are false too, parts from China or where ever and only assembled in USA. Not too many things 100% made in USA. I've always had good luck with CMT router bits, they're made in Italy. Do what Bill suggest sharpen it on the flats with a diamond sharpener, I used to do this all of the time when I taught wood shop, it works, help extend the life of the bit.

      Probably everything in my shop was made in China lol. Wish it weren't so, but it's about all I can afford.
