    Hi Dedpedal,

    I see your saw picture and I think it is a crosscut sled you have. It looks like you are using two miter slots made out of T-slots or something like that.

    I am thinking of building something similar. Are you not using the sliding miter table at all? or Does your cross cut sled also rides on the sliding miter table?

    Looks like you also may be having a larger rip fence.

    Can you please share some more photos of your setup?

    Hey. Sorry for the long wait. I was mostly off the computer for a bit…
    I used red oak for the beds and an aluminum t track with 3/4 opening from Amazon. The trick is to elongate one of the holes in the frame so you can micro adjust for squareness to the blade.
    The fence is another red oak board that is longer and taller. It’s held to the fence with clamps I got with a box of stuff. I don’t know what they were for.
    I seldom use the sliding table as I can’t get it perfect.
    I’ll see if I can find more pics of jigs and sled builds.
