A Featherboard For The Rip Fence

I remembered that I had bought (years ago) a Woodhaven “Hold Down”. Everything you see (except the knobs/washers, tee nuts & wood) is supplied by Woodhaven. All you have to do is make the wooden support – it’s a snap! For the jig freaks, I’ve included pics of a half lap router jig – makes cutting them very precise. The reason for the half laps is to adjust the thickness for the length of the knob studs (and length, to allow the KNOBS to turn). The studs need enough to “grab” the tee nut, but not so long that they “bottom out” on the rip fence. I’ve also included a pic of a modified (“teeth” cut off) hold down that I use for a drill press fence
    stop.
