my new "outfeed table" needed to have it's dust collection improved. so i added these two pieces of hardboard to the big rear opening:
and added some pipe insulation between the saw cabinet and the underside of the table:
and since i know that just keeping a cover ( any kind of cover) on my CI surfaces all but eliminates rust, i made covers out of hardboard and secured them to the saw tops with cleats at the corners made form scap plywood:
when i need a large lightweight work surface, i can use one of the TSs or both for a surface that's almost 4'X8'. total outlay for the hardboard (scrap @ HD), $1.50.
