Source for flex copper or reinforced plastic pipe

I'm replacing the flex copper tubing between my house water system (needs a 3/4" female connector) and the water softener (needs 1" female connector). I've been unable to find the tubing with 3/4"F at one end and 1"F at the other; everyone has 3/4x3/4. I've tried 1"F->3/4"F stepdown adapters with a 3/4M->3/4M nipple, and am frustrated at my inability to avoid leaks. Instead of 4 points of connection on the input and output lines, I now have 8 points, and one always seems to leak! I'm ready to just ignore the expense and buy new 3/4x1 tubing . . . but can't find it! Anyone know of a store that would carry the stuff?
