Nice looking case. The shelf supports look really good and uniform. Any tips on making them?

Thanks guys for all the kind words!
Don't I know it but that is OK! She has been amazing when it comes to buying tools
.
It will be painted (I/we just ran out out decent weather and she wanted to use it right away) so I am thinking maybe milk paint but SHE will tell me
. The shelf supports are shop made but I now know that Woodcraft sells them. I decided on this style as I think it is much stronger than typical pin style and these shelves going to have full load of books.

Looks great Turaj! What kind of finish is it going to get? Paint, clear cote, stain? I really like your choice of shelf adjustment. Did you cut them yourself or buy the ready made ones?Leave a comment:

Honey do project!
My wife was after me for several years to build her a book case but I never seemed to find time for it. She finally threatened me that she was going to buy one of those pre-fab and I had to put it together for her
. I had no choice but to build her one:
Nothing special in this one. It is about 6 feet tall and 3 feet wide with one fixed shelf (plus the bottom shelf) and three adjustable ones (can add more if needed). It is made of solid and plywood pine (as it is going to be painted). The major issue for me was making the back as she wanted some kind of bead board.
She is happy, so I figure I am safe for now
