Lowes Stainless Steel Wood Screws 5lb - $13 Clearance YMMV

I found 5 pound boxes of Grip Rite Primeguard Plus stainless steel exterior wood screws at 75% off at Lowes. I found 8 x 1-5/8", 8 x 2", and 10 x 2-1/2". Square Drive. Was about $52, on clearance for $12.96. Lowes clearance prices are always YMMV.

I found those same screws for $23 a box a week ago - I'll have to start looking around to see if they are cheaper.

They normally sell for $13 pound round here.

Because Lowe's sales tend to be regional, where are you located?

there really is no need to state where you're from, if you add your location to your profile (so that it appears beneath your join date)

I think Herb wanted to know where the OP lived, not Stormbringer. Perhaps I've misread this, however.

But you're really not going to know if it's local or not unless you get off your backside and drive down to Lowes to check it out, now are you? Doesn't matter if he is in New Mexico and you are in Maryland. What do you want him to do, drive to your local Lowes and find out for you. It's a national chain, and may not be available in your area, hence the YMMV note. The only way his location will help you is if it's near to you.

it helps A lot if you can state what branch of the big box store you are referring to.
if it happens to be close then you can go to that specific one.
In the Houston area there's got to be 20-30 lowes, but some of them are a days drive for me since i live on the far west side. just my 2cents.
