I think this will work well. Now, if everyone can find it.

Have to say I really like the small F clamps, expecially with a discount. But the wooden handled ones it seems are being replaced with ones that have a soft grip handle. Both kinds look a lot like the Woodcraft ones, even to the point of thinking they use the same castings. -
I like this idea. I'll give a thumbs up for the metal 6" digital calipers. I also like the small F clamps.

I've had OK results from the set of forstner bits, hammer drill, band saw, dust collector, sandpaper-on-foam blocks, purple air brad gun, 6" digital calipers, pop-up photo tent. Jury still out on the mortising machine. Tried and returned the Bosch-like saber saw.- David

Have had good results from the 2 hp dust collector, 6" calipers and a small trailer. Also bought some of the "third hand" helpers that seem to work well, although I have not used them that much.Joe

I also have one of those 4'X8' foldable trailers. It's one of the best things I've ever bought. I think it runs around $200.00 on sale, and it's great for moving a washer and dryer, or sheet goods from the Borg.Do you know about kickback? Just made a run to HF yesterday. Hadn't been in a while. picked up an additional rubber air hose, some end couplers, a box each of chip brushes and a few other small items. Love just going up and down the aisles and thinking about how I could put some of the items to use. Always seem to pick up something when I go.Joe

I think most of my air hose and parts are from HF. I got a regulator with filter and oiler, it's the mossy green one. That was a bad deal, the filter canisters never seated well and would leek after under pressure for a day or so. So now it's just a regulator. Next time I am in the neighborhood I may have to get the more expensive version.
I have to be careful with the, just walk through and see what I could use, and try to only get what is on my list and perhaps something I forgot and I'll put a doller cap on what I will spend there each trip, as I do at Woodcraft.Comment

Ed mentioned the foldup trailer he got and likes. I was really looking at that one also, but do to space, I ended up with the little one (about 4 X 4). Mainly got it to haul a large snowblower around to my apartments, and it works super for that, with a couple of homemade ramps for on/off.
Eventually made some sides all around and use it for hauling stuff to the dump when needed. Hang the siges on the garage wall, and am able to put the trailer tilted up on its end to basically stand up straight to store.
Good trailer and would buy it again.Joe

Now that summer is near, here's an odd one: The micro butane torch (42099) works well for lighting fireworks fuses, much less likely than aim-n-flames or cigarette lighters to blow out from wind and lasts longer on a fill. Worth the 5 or 6 bucks even if used only a couple times.Comment

I have the Central Machinery #347036 Cast Iron Lathe with reversible head. This is basically a Jet JWL-1236 with the switch moved from the left leg to the lathe head stock, and a coat of green paint.
Only issues I have is. #1. It is relatively light for a floor model lathe. Build a proper lathe stand / bench for it. and #2. The centers are quite aligned. Adjustment is easy though. http://www.newwoodworker.com/turning/alignpnts.htmlPlease like and subscribe to my YouTube channel. Please check out and subscribe to my Workshop Blog.Comment
