SawdustZone Site outage 2023-NOV-11 - New Software and a New Look

What: Site outage for Software upgrade
When: 2023-NOV-11 8:00 am CST for approximately 2 hours.

    Details:
vBulletin released version 6.0 of their software in August and a number of issues were discovered in test causing us to skip this version. 6.0.1 has corrected the issues that would affect us so we will be upgrading on the 11th of November.

    New Look:
The style we've been using since 2016 is technically compatible with the new software, but there are a number of things that needed to be fixed in addition to the many fixes I need to apply every time a new version is released. With this in mind, I've created a new style that is based on one of their standard templates so there will be less work from version to version. The layout remains the same, but the colors, fonts and backgrounds will be different.

The maintenance outage has been completed and we are back online. If you notice any issues following the upgrade, reply to this thread and we'll get started working on them.

    Thanks much

OK, getting used to it. Looks very different.
First thing is I couldn't reply to this thread. Then I saw I was logged out and had to log back in.

Cosmetically this is going to take some getting used to. It's not bad per se, but just not what I am accustomed to...

The "Remember Me" is checked but once I close my browser and then open it again later and come to SawDustZone, it doesn't remember me and I have to log in again. The "Remember Me" does work if I do not close my browser.

Any way to make "Remember Me" stick?

Can you try it again, log out, quit your browser and then come back and log in again. I think the problem was that Sawdustzone.org was not redirecting to www.sawdustzone.org which from a cookie standpoint are two different sites. I fixed the redirects and hopefully that will solve the problem
