    An Unusual Wood Source

I just replaced my old worn out grill brush. As I was about to throw the old one away I decided to toss it in my scrap box instead.
I turned this from a section of it yesterday.

The wood source and stories behind some of the stuff we turn can be as interesting as the turning itself.

Very nice job,,, figured out what species it is?

Very nice Dick! Who would ever figure it was from an old grill brush.

Yep, nice looking pen...and even nice when you consider the story you can tell when someone comments on it.

          Nice save indeed.
