    A little shop time today

Since LOML has turned the corner and is getting better I celebrated with some shop time.

    Left to Right
    Purple Heart
    Zebra Wood
    Teak
    Ebony

I tried a tip from another forum on the Purple Heart, after turning and sanding pop it into a 275 oven for 10 minutes to enhance the color, not shure if it helped.
The Teak has a beautiful delicate grain, sorry it doesn't show in the pic.

    Had a great day!

Good looking pens! My Purpleheart is real dark for some reason. The stuff I get is always very dark purple.

Love the pens.... especially that ebony. I've found that heat didn't do a lot for the purpleheart, but direct sunlight will turn it a real nice purple. It takes a couple of days.
