    I Got A New Toy

My new Hunter #3 tool came yesterday so I gave it a try today. Boy will that thing make the chips fly.
Here is a Sterling Sedona done in Smokey Taupe PR from Exotic Blanks.

A great looking pen. Congrats on the new tool. I feel so fortunate that I have no idea what a Hunter #3 is.

It's a lathe tool with a replaceable carbide disk cutter affixed to the end... Many turners use them instead of a bowl gouge. Removes wood in a big hurry.

Thanks for the info. Very enlightening. What I was referring to is that I feel fortunate not to have found the deep well of financial extraction in the pen and bowl thing. That part of turning looks very interesting. I just haven't stepped off the ledge...yet.

If that's the case, you don't get hurt. May go hungry, but not hurt.

              Great looking pen as always.
              Keep it going.
