    Starting early!

    Well I stayed at home today and worked virtual. I was able to get all that I needed to do before lunch so guess where I went?

    I got kind of crazy out there and spent the rest of the day on a single project. This piece is made from Brazilian Cherry with a Bloodwood finial. I did the small captive ring in the center just because. It is 7-1/4” tall and 2” wide. It is also hollowed to the form. I made the bottom with quite a bit of mass to make up for the height and it being a suction fit lid.

    (Sorry about the flash shadows, I am working on that)

      That piece took my breath away. I think it is the best that you have posted to date. I've not seen Raffan or Stott do anything as nice as that.
