    I Turned Some Stoppers Today

Here are 3. Black & White Ebony, Unknown Laminate & Tulip Wood. I have a nice piece of Tulip Wood on the lathe but it started fighting me and I decided that it was time to quit and attack it again tomorrow. Sold 4 of them at happy hour last week so I am going to build up a stockpile.

Dick, the one on the right looks a heckuva lot more like tulipwood than olivewood... Maybe you better go look again at what you got in your lathe...

I agree with Unc, if that's olive wood it's different than any I've seen.

Whatever it is, they all look great and are nicely done.

My mistake. That is Tulip Wood not Olive. The Olive was next up after the Tulip that is in the lathe.

LOML want some stoppers. Picked up a starter kit an Woodcraft and have to wait for a chuck to hold the mandrel that came with the kit. What do you use to hold the stoppers for truning? Beautiful stoppers, I can see this years Christmas Presents in the making.
