    A Little Shop Time

I was able to get some time in the shop today. I started by touching up all of my turning tools on my new Jet sharpener. Wow that is nice.

I was then in the mood to turn something, I have had a no hurry order for some bottle stoppers from a friend and decided to get started on them.
Last fall I picked up some PauRosa at Woodcraft because the grain looked good. I had never turned it before so today was an experiment. It turned beautifully {nice sharp tools today} and looks great when finished just with Crystal Coat.

Here are a couple pictures of the one I did today, need to work on my picture skills a bit.

Well you are right, the wood has beautiful grain and your turning shows it off really well. I think you've got a winner.

Your friend should be pleased if they all look like this one.
